I have two different editions of Tess of the D’Urbervilles. I owned a copy, then was required to get a specific critical edition for a college lit class. Same thing with Jane Eyre.

I used to have duplicates of Harry Potter also. Bought the trade when they came out but then went back and bought hardbacks of the whole series. Gave the trades away to a friend of mine.

I apparently do not remember my collection well since I bought a duplicate. But I guess one is not bad. My father buys duplicates all the time by accident!
