We Are All Completely Besides Ourselves and Americanah are in so many best-of-2014 lists that I bumped them up my priority wish-list. Another major 2015 theme seems to be reading more diversely, which is great news I've joined a challenge for literature in translation but also plan to read more in the original (PT, ES and FR).

Sounds like you are in a great place! I've missed seeing you on social media and chatting, but that's probably mostly my fault, because I'm not on social media as much as I used to be. Love that you love your job. And love that you're finding your own personal blogging rhythm again.

Meghan, I'm so glad your life is going well - congratulations on your promotion and to your husband! As someone who is currently experiencing the two-year itch, I am jealous that you are not :-)

All these books sound wonderful - I've read and enjoyed a lot of them and so now I want to read the rest!

Well, first of all I decided to only use Goodreads this year, too, and you have a book on your best of list that I forgot I read because I only used Goodreads to do my best of post. Darn. Would have been a favourite! I am sure there are others that will pop up... Secondly, you always read so much that I want to. Thankfully we have a lot of books in common or all ready on my TBR. Only a few I must go see about. :)

How I love this post! It sounds like you had a great year, in all areas of life. Ditching all those reading rules can be so freeing. I found the energy in my blogging by letting myself blog about anything and not just book related things. And writing very few reviews. The funny thing is I still mostly blog about bookish things! Here's to a great new year!
