They are SO CUTE!!! I haven’t stitched in a while but watching TV while working on handquilting is one of my favorite ways to unwind. I COULD listen to audiobooks during that time, but…TV usually wins. Have you watched Breaking Bad? It’s a bit rough but great for binge watching. I’ve also recently discovered Gilmore Girls (which I’ve never watched) is on Netflix. Not sure if it is on UK Netflix, though?

I don’t know what’s available on UK Netflix so I don’t know what to recommend. BUT if you get Parenthood, I recommend that. I have been watching it, and it’s just the right amount dramatic and tearjerky without being obnoxiously either one of those two things. I’ve been watching it while cross-stitching and finding it very relaxing.

Now that you’ve watched Mr Selfridge (all the series?) you could compare and contrast with The Paradise (there are only two series & they’re BBC so short).
