Love this list! I tried to read a couple of Nalini Singh’s books, and it wasn’t that they were too steamy for me, they were just too — I dunno, too much of that trope where the guy’s all YOU ARE MINE NOW and the girl’s all with the fluttering hands and the fluttering heart. But maybe I am remembering wrong and misrepresenting her. :p

I loooooooved A Tale for the Time Being too, and of course Americanah. And Ishiguro is just the best – M read The Remains of the Day recently and hearing him talk about it reminded me of how much I loved it. I really need to read Cristina Henriquez at some point.
