Enjoy the summer heat and all your reading! I hate hate hate the heat myself, even though I have grown up in a very hot place and should be used to it. My summers are all about staying inside and reading academic monographs. :p

I am so looking forward to Summer and there will be a sense of freedom for me as I only have a couple of more weeks of my college work! I can’t wait to have real time to read again! Good luck with your Summer to-be-read pile. You have an interesting mixture of books.

I just started reading the Dresden files series last week, and I have to say I enjoyed it. It’s also great to see other bloggers who enjoy it through all the books though, because the number of them is intimidating!
I heard great things about Brennan’s books. I hope the second one is as good as the first!

I like summer too, although I wish there were more holidays in the middle of it. It’s nonstop work for me, unfortunately.

Your summer reading list looks great, Meghan! I still haven’t read anything by Marie Brennan. I keep meaning to. I have my copy of Skin Game, but I’m so behind on the series still . . . Ugh. Need to catch up.

I LOVE the heat too and it’s so funny because I live in Florida, where it is warm year-round and SUPER hot and humid in the summer, but I still love the feeling of stepping outside into the heat and humidity. There’s something about the sun on my skin that just feels fantastic.

I want to read pretty much all the books on your stack!

I hate the heat, but I love summer, especially the daylight into the evening. Nothing better than reading on the deck well into the evening.
