A lot of the non-fiction that does get published is about being a POC, which is good but can get repetitive and a bit tiring after a while.

Sorry about the shin splints :(. I hope you can do your run, too! And maybe the swimming will help, since it is low-impact?

May was such a long, dragged out month for me. I am kind of glad to see June pick up the pace a little. It sounds like your year so overall has been a good one, even if uneventful. I’ve learned uneventful is a very good thing a lot of the time! At least in my life. It seems eventful things tend to be bad things more often than the happy ones. I could use more happy events, I think. So far it’s been better than last year though, if only by a smidgen. Hopefully it will continue to be so and maybe even get better. Am I ever the depressing one? Don’t listen to me.
