I thought that Where She Went, the sequel, was even better than If I Stay. I thought If I Stay was excellent, but Where She Went was exquisite.

Though this one definitely affected me, I don’t think I enjoyed it as much as most people did. Something kept me at a distance emotionally… but maybe that’s because I was afraid of getting too involved with the characters, knowing the possible outcomes.

I’d never heard of this book (yeah, I know, what rock am I under?) but the title is enough to pull me in, it works so beautifully. Add that to a great cover, and a good review, and I’m intrigued.

I loved this book. It was so gut wrenching and I didn’t know what path I wanted Mia to take. I definitely want to read the sequel!

I also have read a lot of hype about this book, and that is why I have sort of stayed away. After reading your thoughts on it, I might have to give it go, and I actually think this would be a great book to share with my daughter. Thanks for the compelling review. I will add this to the list.
