Today my brother Matthew would have been 23. He would have bragged about the fact that there was temporarily only one year between our ages, as he always did (I’m 24), and he probably would have asked for some expensive electronic device that we’d struggle to buy him. He might have had a degree and a job by now.
He passed away nearly five years ago of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and I still miss him.
I’m so sorry, Meghan. Of course you still miss him. My brother’s name is Matthew, too.
